About Hermanus Philippus Grobler

Note: It is sometimes mentioned that Hermanus's youngest child, Pieter Ignatius Grobler (*28.04.1881 Humpata, Angola) was the very first Boer child born in Angola. This is incorrect, there were a few Boer children born before Pieter such as Jan Johannes Alberts (*28.01.1881 Humpata, Angola), the son of the 1st Dorsland Trek Leader, Gert Alberts (*1836) and his 2nd wife, Petronella Francina Le Grange.
