  1. (probably) Elizabeth Tilley, b. ca. 1631; d. Springfield, Mass., 21 Aug. 1684. Married Springfield 21 Oct 1653 to Thomas Merrick (d. 1704) as his 2nd wife; he was Sarah Stebbins widower. 5 children born at Springfield.

  1. Abigail Camp, bapt in Milford on 29 August 1647. (Or was she Abigail Baldwin the daughter of Sarah, 1st wife of Nicholas Camp, and baptized as an adult in Milford?)

Notes

John Tilley, master of a bark, was cruelly maimed by the Indians on the Connecticut River, near Saybrook, in October, 1636, and died three days later. He had a homelot assigned to him in Windsor, which Thomas Dewey "lawful att’y to Nich. Camp of M. and his wife Eady, formerly Eady Tilley" sold in 1646. [Winthrop "History of New England, "1853, p. 238; Stiles’s "History of Windsor," 1: 67, 167.]

John Tilley of the Mayflower died in the winter of 1621, along with his wife Joan. He left one daughter, Elizabeth. Edith Tilley is NOT a spouse of that John Tilley. set adrift 10 Jun 2011, Janet Palo-jackson, curator
