James Stewart Mitchell and Sarah Scott were my third great grandparents. They were not the parents of Ann Eliza Mitchell but James was probably closely related to her. All their children were born in Kentucky and they never lived in Ohio. James Stewart Mitchell was the grandson of Daniel Boone's sister Elizabeth Grant (Boone). James' brothers William and Moses Jr .lived in Ohio and one of their lines may have been connected to Ann Eliza Mitchell. Moses Jr was the grandfather of Major General John G. Mitchell who fought in the Civil War.
