Mitchell -- in that Copy and Paste you shared from MyHeritage, most shared less than 100 cM, so did not meet the criteria one looks for for matches likely to have a discoverable common ancestor.
With no info on longest segment, could not tell if the few that share at least 100 cM actually have any chance of meeting the criteria. But even when a match meets the criteria, success is not particularly likely.
But if one already has a very extensive Tree created for oneself, and one creates a very extensive tree for a given match, sometimes one can discover the connection.

DNA can be very valuable for helping confirm a relationship one suspected due to family info and/or a paper trail. That is the main way I have used it. For example when I contacted someone the paper trail suggested was a second cousin, and they agreed to test their DNA so we could compare theirs to mine.

And it can sometimes provide a hint or clue to pursue to establish a relationship - especially if one has a large number of known matches one can compare the match to on Chromosome Browser. Which is why I have spent time and money on DNA tests for over two dozen relatives, building up a pool that I could compare against.

Why do you say that "Martha is related to Rose Nachman and David Walter Bloom"? Martha's ancestor was a Ferrin, not a Bloom, and so she is not a blood relative of Rose or David Walter Bloom. (Unless there is DNA evidence to the contrary, but if so, we haven't seen it yet.)

Similarly, you write "My mom is related to Abraham Jacob Siegel". But according to Geni, "Beverly Herman Siegel is Abraham Jacob Siegel's great granddaughter's husband's first cousin once removed's wife." That's not a blood relationship, either. Is there DNA evidence of a direct connection? If so, what is it?

And I don't see the connection between Rose and Jack Nachman and Pesel Weiner, either.

Can you connect the dots for me (either with relevant DNA results or with the names of the common ancestors) to explain how these people are related to each other?
