According to page 454 of the Valle Kommune volume 1/2 ... Olav Olsson Nomeland has a personal mark/bumerket shown as a " # " . This was used around 1718. A lot of the personal marks I have seen are not from Hylestad where Nomeland is located.
I can't seem to find anything on this site.....https://media.digitalarkivet.no , I was able to find some of my ancestors birth, death, marriage records, but those were of ancestors in the early 1900s and throughout the 1800s.
I'm looking for direct descendant's bumerket. Anything from Nomeland, Uppstad, Helle or Rysstad would be great.
The mystery here is where was Olav Olsson Nomeland's bumerket was originally found. If somebody knows please let me know.
Is it possible that Olav Olsson Nomeland's father Olav Knutson Nomeland's had the same bumerke?
