Interior in decent shape, with some browning, staining, and some minor creases, the first EP and title as well as prelims are absent, first two pages of Genesis are creased and damaged, rest are perfect, includes NT title. Family record is extensive, from the 1750's for the Woodland / Angier / Clayton family of Kent County MD area. Very historical Bible with both historical family ties, as well as a rare early American Bible in and of itself. The family on ancestry.com shows they owned 8 slaves and were wealthy plantation owners, as well as F & I war vets. 1790 United States Federal Census about John Woodland.
