He was Lord of Aldithley, Talk and Balterley in the county of Staffordshire, and of Cedde and Mottram Andrew in the county of Cheshire. He was a thane of the king, and through his mother closely related to William the Conqueror.
WIFE: (miss) PONCIUS She was the daughter of William PONCIUS, Count of Arques and Thoulose, son of Richard II, Duke of Normandy. She was thus a cousin of William the Conqueror and a sister to Richard Fitz Pontz, progenitor of the de Clifford family.
