Together they had the following children: Andrew Frank Markowski; Ludwig Frank Marks (Markowski); Robert Sylvester Markowski; Gustav "Gust" Stanley Constantine Markowski, Sr; Clara Vetrovec (Markowski); Annastasie Louis Malek (Markowski); Adam Markowski; Mary Anna Nielson (Markowski); Karolina Markowski.

He died on June 30, 1939 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois, United States and was buried on July 3, 1939 in Calumet City, Cook County, Illinois, United States.
