From The Baronetage of England, p. 206: "...William de Stanley, lord of Stanley and Storeton, in right of his wife Johanna, eldest daughter and coheiress of Philip de Bannvile, lord of Storeton, in Wirehall in Cheshire, by which he was also forrester of the forest of Wirehall in the said county, ann. 1317.

From The History of the House of Stanley from the Conquest to the Death of the Right Honourable Edward, Late Earl of Derby, in 1776 : "JOAN, eldest daughter and one of the heirs of Sir Ph. Bamville, Knight, Lord of Stourton."

Notes

•  from Jim Weber: "Many sources on the internet have Philip married to a "Miss Pulford", with Agnes de Storeton married to Philip's father Thomas de Baumville. Burke's Peerage states that Agnes was wife of Philip and does not mention Thomas. I have left Miss Pulford as a second wife of Philip. There are so many Storeton/Stourton place names in this little section of ancestry that it is very hard to sort them out. Certainly Burke's Peerage inserts quite a few question marks after each Storeton/Stourton when it is describing this line."
