Sir Geoffrey Chedle de Dutton

Geoffry de Chedle, son of Geoffrey de Dutton, as seneschal of John Lacy, his grandfather, 1232-1240. His name shows up with the release of Swanus, a villain of Clifton, to Geoffry de Dutton, the son of Adam de Dutton, and witnesses the grant of an oratory at Sutton juxta Frodsham. His name shows up in the Arley charters about the year of 1240 as Geoffrey de Dutton, lord of Chedle, in a grant by him, of Caldewalle in Apilton
