A Patriot of the American Revolution for NORTH CAROLINA (SOLDIER). DAR Ancestor # A202393

While moving west and south, from Pennsylvania, he lived for a while in the current state of Tennessee, in Sevier county, which was founded September 28, 1794 He was a Revolutionary Soldier, said to have organized the first Masonic Lodge in Jefferson County, Alabama. A member of the Presbyterian Church. Died Mar 15, 1852. Military marker by the Birmingham Territory Chapter, National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Oct. 01, 2005.
