Margaret Strachan

From Stirnet's "Ramsay04" page (membership required to view without interruption): "The main Strachan source identifies the following <this> Margaret as William's wife and mother of David. However, we are uncertain on the number of intervening generations. BP1934 mentions Lord Bothwell (above) but, other than to confirm that he (David) was descended from him (Lord Bothwell), commences its pedigree with the David Ramsay (below) who married Margaret Ogilvie. The following 2 generations are speculative inasmuch as, although it seems certain that David & William were of this family, it is not known whether they were grandparent/parent of the David who married Margaret Ogilvie or some other connection (such as uncle)."
