About Lady Isabel Attewode
- Birth: circa 1404/5 Sanderstead, Surrey, England; (It is believed that her mother was Margaret de Mules, Upton, maiden name unknown)
- Death: 1499 (age 94) Sanderstead, Surrey, England (also seen as Greater Croyden, London)
- Daughter of James de Mules and Margaret de Mules (maiden name unknown)
- Wife of sir John Atte Wode, knight
- Mother of: Thomas Wood, John Atwood, Anne Atwood Also known as Isabella Mulys
Isabel's husband was a knight, which entitles her to the honorary, "Lady." The mother of Isabel was said to be Widow Margaret Upton. However, her mother out lived James de Mules, and married John Upton after the death of James de Mules (de Moels), who died in 1396. His death is also before the birth of Isabel. Therefore John Upton would have been her father.
