22 April 1535: Charter under the Great Seal of Scotland which confirms to William Keith, son and heir of the deceased Robert Keith, Master of Marischal, possession of the barony of Dunotter and other lands, including the lands of Auchrosk, Auchincloich, Fornocht, Warderis, Leyluge, and others in the Sheriffdom of Aberdeen, which had previously been held in conjuct fee and liferent by the deceased Robert, Master of Marischal, and his wife LADY BEATRICIS DOWGLAS: "necnon terras de Auchrosk, Auchincloich, Fornocht, Warderis, Leyluge, Lauehintulich, Tulybyn, Tortowy, Auchquhrynnny, Drumnahaith, Ladach et Mylneboy, vic. Abirdene que fuerunt dicti Rob. et Beatricis (Dowglas) ejus spouse in conjuneta infeodatione, et per mortem dicti Rob. et renunciationem dicte Beat, regi devenerunt". RMS: charter number 302

Lady Elizabeth Douglas was the daughter of John Douglas, 2nd Earl of Morton and Janet Crichton. She married Robert Keith, Master of Marischal, son of William Keith, 2nd Earl Marischal and Lady Elizabeth Gordon, before 8 January 1505/6. She died on 2 May 1527. Lady Elizabeth Douglas was also known as Beatrice. From before 8 January 1505/6, her married name became Keith.
