Alice Harpur married only twice: 1. John Middleton, a London Mercer, a Merchant of the Staple of Calais who died in 1509 and was buried in the Church of St. Katherine Coleman. They had two children: i. Alice (d.1563) who married firstly, Thomas Elrington (d.1523), and secondly, Sir Giles Allington (d.1586). ii. Helen (d. circa 1510).
2. Sir Thomas More. At the time of her marriage to Sir Thomas More Alice was, of course, Alice MIddleton (not Harpur). They married at the Church of St. Stephen Walbrook in the Autumn of 1511. No issue. Dame/Lady Alice died in 1551.
