JonBenét Ramsey

JonBenét Patricia Ramsey, named after her father John Bennett Ramsey and her mother Patricia (nee Paugh) was born August 6 1990 in Atlanta, Fulton County, Georgia, USA. Shortly after her birth, her parents moved the family which included her older brother Burke, to Colorado.

On Dec. 26, 1996 JonBenét 's body was found murdered in her parent's wine celler. There was speculation that her family members had something to do with it, but upon DNA testing and fingerprints, there was no match to any of her family members; and they were all ruled out as suspects.

Prior to her high profile murder case, JonBenét was a winning beauty pageant contestant. She was enrolled in rock-climbing and dance classes.

According to the attorney for John Mark Karr (a child sexual assault convict) he is no longer charged with the murder of JonBenét Ramsey. The former American school teacher had publicly declared that he was with JonBenét when she died, but DNA results now suggest Karr had nothing to do with it.
