John Lawrence of Rumburgh, will prove 3 Aug 1504; names wife Margery, son John. Mentions tenement called Cranes.

John may be the son of Thomas Lawrence, as in tracing the ownership of Cranes, it was owned by Thomas Lawrence in 1471, and the next owner-occupant as of 1504 was John and Margery Lawrence. In 1528, the owner was John Lawrence, and in 1559 the owner-occupants were John and Elizabeth Lawrence.
