Benoni Smith Sr.’s parents were Henry Smith Sr. (born Dec 16, 1680 in Medfield, married Deborah Pratt in Feb 20 1702/03 in Medfield, Married Mary Marietta Adams in March 4 1707/08 In Medfield, married Ruth Barber on Sep 1 1730 in Medfield, died April 14, 1743 in Medfield, buried in Vine Lake Cemetery) and Mary Marietta Adams (born Aug 4 1681 in Medfield, Died Feb 25 1724/25 In Medfield). They had children Mary (1709-1770), Henry Jr. (1711-1785), Jonathan (1714-1784), Sarah (1717-1748) and Benoni Sr. Benoni Sr. had children with his other wives as well (Daniel, 1706-1749 with Deborah Pratt. I note that Deborah died in 1706, so I suspect she died in childbirth or linked to childbirth. He had three kids with Ruth Barber — Ruth (1730-1813), Moses (1732-?) and Asa (1740-1822)).
