About General Ljubomir Ilić
https://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ljubo_Ili%C4%87
Either there were several men by this name, or he was a most versatile individual. A Ljubomir Ilić was an aircraft engineer in the 1930s, co-designing the Ikarus IK-2 and Rogožarski IK-3 fighter planes. Another, or perhaps the same person, was involved in the Spanish Civil War, and he, or yet another such person, worked with the French Resistance in Northern Italy and was promoted to general by Charles De Gaulle.
The general (and diplomat) was the third husband of Zinka Milanov.
