There seems to be an unwarranted ASS-umption here that Emoine's father John "le Botillier" was the same person as John de Verdun (c1226-bef 17 Oct 1274). Evidence for this is circumstantial and sketchy, at best. (If she was "daughter and heir", as Rootsweb states, then she was NOT the daughter of John de Verdun, because he had sons to inherit.)
