Identity

Death date seen as 1283 without supporting evidence; in fact she must have died before 1277, when Isabel was John de Walton’s widow. Elizabeth was not the same person as Isabel de Wauton. We know that because Maud de Walton was an ancestress of https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Owain_Glyndŵr and he is not known to have had a Shirley ancestress.
