Elizabeth (Sanders ????) married Abraham Isaac Robert in 1740 and became Elizabeth ??? Robert. She had one son (John Roberts) by Abraham. After Abraham's death in 1757, Elizabeth married James Shepard, a Blacksmith in PonPon, St. Bartholomews Parish, Colleton Co., South Carolina. Together they were the parents of one son, Thomas Shepard (born November 09, 1752). James Shepard died about April, 1759. Elizabeth and her two sons apparently relocated to Liberty County, Georgia about 1772. Elizabeth Shepard died on August 14, 1785 in Liberty County.
