The house of Moncrieff. by Seton, George, 1822-1908; Moncrieff, Alexander, Sir, 1829-1906. Published 1890 Page 30-31 according to The Tree & Martin's manuscript, Sir William Moncreiff (d 1575) & Margaret Murray had four sons and five daughters, the additional son being James and three of the four additional daughters corresponding to those of earlier or later generations.
