Edward Brabazon, 2nd Earl of Meath [1]
Edward Brabazon, 2nd Earl of Meath was born circa 1610.4 He was the son of William Brabazon, 1st Earl of Meath and Jane Bingley.[2],[3]
He married Mary Chambré, daughter of Calcott Chambré and Mary Villiers, in 1632.[5]
He died on 25 March 1675, drowned off Holyhead enroute to England.[6]

Life Sketch
He was appointed Privy Counsellor (P.C.) [Ireland] in 1584. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for County Wicklow in 1585. He was appointed Knight on 24 August 1595 by the Lord Deputy [Ireland]. In 1598 he purchased the estate of Nether Whitacre, Warwickshire. He held the office of High Sheriff of County Stafford from 1606 to 1607. He held the office of Member of Parliament (M.P.) for Bangor between 1613 and 1615. He was one of the Council of Munster in 1615. He was created 1st Lord Brabazon, Baron of Ardee, co. Louth [Ireland] on 19 July 1616. His last will was dated from 16 February 1624/25 to 27 March 1625. In 1630 he sold the estate of Nether Whitacre, Warwickshire.
