Ebenezer Nutting was born 4 June 1686 at Groton, Massachusetts Bay Colony, the son of John Nutting and Mary Lakin. He was living on 22 Jan 1762.
He was in Groton, Ma 1666. Removed to Cambridge, Ma.before 1707. There he was known as the learned Blacksmith. He later became a doctor.
He married Ruth Shattuck on 13 December 1710/11 at Groton. She was the daughter of William Shattuck and his wife Hannah Underwood, and was born October 1694 at Groton, Middlesex, Massachusetts Bay Colony. She was living on 13 Jun 1747.
