Daniel Grinnell, of Freetown

1. Daniel GRINNELL (Matthew GRINNELL2, Matthew GRINNELL1). He married Sarah CHASE, daughter of Benjamin CHASE and Phillipa SHERMAN. She was born ABT 1676.

!See notes of wife. "Descendants of William Chase" gives no data for him. There is an entry in the 1998 Ancestral File of one born 1655 E. Greenwhich, R.I., son of Matthew Grinnell and Mrs. Mary, spouse Sarah Chase and another, about 1670 Freetown, without parents, spouse Mary Chase, another born 1672 of Portsmouth, Newport, R.I., without parents, spouse Sarah Chase. The only LDS proxy temple ordinances are a year 1995 for baptism and endowment. There are several entries in the 1997 IGI with father Matthew, the earliest is for one born about 1665, Freetowns, Massachusetts, baptism and endowment are 24 May 1661 and 11 Jul 1961 both SGEOR from temple film. The only entry showing spouse Sarah Chase is with birth about 1674, Freetown, with the endowment dates given here, form submission.
