Constance de Bramshill

Foxley had married a lady named Constance in the earliest years of the 14th century. She appears to have been the heiress of the De Bramshill family from Bramshill in Hampshire, which manor they had inherited by 1306 when they obtained permission from the Bishop of Winchester to have divine service held in their chapel there. Eleven years later, the King granted them free warren also.

Constancia was born circa 1277 at theManor of Bramshill, Bramshill, Hampshire, England. Constancia married Sir John de Foxley circa 1295 at England.1 Constance inherited the Manor of Bramshill which passed to her son Thomas. Constancia's husband, John, died in 1325 in the Manor of Foxley, Bray, Berkshire, England,, leaving her a widow. She then returned to live at her home at the Manor of Bramshill.2 Constancia departed this life in 1333 at theManor of Bramshill, Bramshill, Hampshire, England.3
