Clarence C. Fussell, 92 year old Mooreland resident, died Monday July 14, 2003
in the Vici Nursing Home. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 17, 2003
at 10:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church of Mooreland. Interment will
be in the Mooreland Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Billings
Funeral Home.

Clarence Clyde Fussell was born August 20, 1910 to Samuel H. and Mary Catherine
(Majors) Fussell near Curtis, Oklahoma. He attended school at Enterprise School
District #111. On March 12, 1931 Clarence was married to Violet Stoll at
Waynoka, Oklahoma. To this union two sons were born, J. Lynn and Thurman. He
worked on a ranch northwest of Waynoka for four years. The family then moved to
a farm northwest of Mooreland where he engaged in farming. Clarence and Violet
made their home on the farm for many years and Clarence worked 19 years for the
Mooreland Farmers Cooperative. He also drove a school bus 13 years for the
Mooreland Public Schools. Violet preceded him in death on May 24, 1998.

Clarence was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Mooreland.

He is survived by two sons, J. Lynn Fussell and wife Shirley of Woodward;
Thurman Fussell of Mooreland; eleven grandchildren, Margaret Brittain and
husband Sam of Mooreland; Sally Miller and husband Darrell of Mooreland; Troy
Fussell and wife Hyonhui of Knoxville, Tennessee; Roxie Emunson and husband
Daniel Havlock, North Carolina; Cindy Seaman of Houston, Texas; Tami Crawford of
Bartlesville; Terry Fussell of Olympia, Washington; Alan Fussell and wife Cheryl
of Woodward; Sherri Campbell and husband Mike of Mooreland; Jeri Bauer and
husband Jeff of Guymon; Tricia Walters and husband Jimmie of Mooreland; 22
great-grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; three sisters, Frances Harney
of Ponca City; Mary Lintner of Alva; Nina Maddux of Woodward; one brother Fred
Fussell of Pampa, Texas; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister, four brothers and one
great-grandchild, Trevor Lynn.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Vici Nursing Home with the funeral
home as custodian.
