Charmian Kittredge London an American virtuoso pianist and writer. It was March 1900 that she meet Jack London. In the windy city of Chicago, Illinois, on November 19, 1905, the couple got married. She was an excellent typist as well as a virtuoso pianist, both of which Jack enjoyed. She was encouraged by Jack to write, so she wrote three books: 'The Log of the Snark, Our Hawaii,' and 'The Book of Jack London'
Jack and Charmian were married for a short 11 years. At the age of 84, she died. Jack's grave is marked by a red boulder at the Jack London State Historical Park, so Charmian was cremated and her ashes were placed under this boulder along with Jack's ashes.
