The IPM for Richard Orchard, in 1420, states Christine daughter of William Orchard was his sister and next heir, aged 13 years on 30 Nov. 1419 [b. 1406].

Proof of age for Christine wife of Philip Cary and sister and heir of Richard son and heir of William Orchard, Writ 26 November 1422. The jurors say that Christine was born at Ladford and baptised in St Michael’s church, Shebbear, and was aged 14 years and more on 29 November last [b. abt. 1407].
