Charles Delorier was born 10 Oct 1722. He was the son of Rene Babineau and Marie Savoie. He was baptized at birth by Marie Dugas and ceremonies took place18 Oct 1722 at Annapolis Royal. His godparents were Charles Melanson and Marie Joseph Savoye.[1][2]
He married Cecile Comeau, daughter of François and Marie Madeleine Lord, about 1750 in Acadia.
According to historian André-Carl Vachon, Charles and Cécile were deported to Georgia and made their way back to Acadie. They were aboard the ship La Flore which left Isle Saint-Jean on 9 August 1756 and arrived at the port of Quebec on 25 August 1756. On that day, Charles was hospitalized at Hotel Dieu hospital in Quebec. [3][4]
