Also, the following correspondence from Darrell Wolcott:
"Harleian Ms 3859 makes him Brydw ap Cadeyrn ap Cadell, but it is my belief the two names are reversed (as in JC 20) and should be Brydw ap Cadell ap Cadeyrn. There is actually no certain way to date Millo ap Camuir. If Harl 3859 is right as it stands, this is the ONLY source which says Cadell had a son named Cadeyrn. Several sources say he had a father named Cadeyrn.
Bartrum charts a single Brydw as a son of Vortigern and father of both Camiur and Thewer (who married Cassanauth Wledig). Thewer is cited in JC 20 as "ferch Brydw ap Cadell Ddyrnllwg ap Cadeyrn ap Gwrtheyrn, a construction which omits 3 generations between "Cadeyrn ap Pasgen" and Cadeyrn ap Gwrtheyrn" in Cadell's pedigree. And this Gwrtheyrn is NOT the one known as Vortigern." (Steven Ferry, October 29, 2019.)
