"Betty" Florence Emily Kinsworth [formerly Podger] Kunze

Florence Emily was born on the 17th July 1909, at "Torwood," Hartington-street, Elsternwick . Florence was the younger daughter of Thomas Henry and Florence Evelyn [born Kingsworth]

Florence Emily Kingsworth Watkins, daughter of Florence and Thomas Watkins, of Elgar Road, Doncaster, entered St. Francis' Church, Box Hill, on the arm of her father, Thomas Henry, for her marriage Claude. A very graceful bride, Florence chose a lovely seasonal bouquet of camelias, daphne, heather and maidenhair fern. Her gown of chalk white satin, featured a long sheath bodice and ankle length flared skirt. A cornet of Orange blossom held the lace veil mounted on tulle.

Matron of honor, her sister, Nellie Evelyn Tolley, wore an ensemble of foam green chiffon velvet, and a picture hat with a cluster of flowers under an upturned brim. Nellie carried a shower bouquet of pink camellias tied with a wide ribbon bow.

Dr. W. Scarf was best man.

Guests were entertained at wedding tea the bride's parents home. Following a honeymoon at Cowes, the couple moved to take up a dentistry practice at Terang.
