Benjamin (b. July 10, 1780 Orange County, North Carolina) married Ruth Davis (b. April 26, 1782 Chatham County, North Carolina) on December 11, 1800. Ruth was the daughter of Joseph and Hannah Davis.

Benjamin and his family relocated from Cane Creek Monthly Meeting to White River Monthly Meeting, Randolph County, Indiana on July 4, 1829.

Benjamin married second Ruth (Hoggatt) Bowles on August 24, 1837 at Arba Meetinghouse, Randolph County, Indiana. She was the daughter Phillip and Alice Hoggatt and widow of Ephraim Overman Bowles.

Benjamin married third Mourning (Chamness) Osborn (b. April 11, 1784) on October 20, 1847 at Cherry Grove Meetinghouse, Randolph County, Indiana. She was the daughter of Joseph and Margaret Chamness.
