Like his father, Balthasar was once widowed, and thus had two wives. The first was Anna Maria Traut(t) Romberger, whom he married about 1770. She was born 1753, and died before 1797 in Mifflin Township, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Balthasar and Anna Maria Traut(t) Romberger had children:

Heinrich Romberger, born in New Holland, Lancaster County, July 12, 1773, died before January 31, 1822
Adam Romberger, born in New Holland, Lancaster County, June 3, 1775, died in Pillow aka Uniontown in Dauphin County on August 17, 1868
Anna Catharina Romberger, born in New Holland, Lancaster County, March 19, 1777, and died in Wiconsico, Dauphin County, PA on July 3, 1851
Balthasar Romberger (the younger) born in New Holland, Lancaster County, December 28, 1878, died in Mifflin Township, Dauphin County on June 16, 1839.

After the loss of his first wife, on June 15, 1798 in Harrisburg, Balthasar married his second wife, Susannah Lehman. She was born about 1770 and bore him Susanna, Samuel, Jacob, Salome and Jacob B.
