The precise relationship between the following family sub-group and Hugues [Duke of Burgundy] (their "propinquus", see below) has not been identified. The issue is complicated by the fact that Ingelger, husband of Adelais, was the son of Petronilla and Tertullus. This suggests that the relationship (if there was one) may have been a remote one, maybe indirectly through one of the wives of Hugues or his father.
