Watson, corner of Market and Fourth streets. Mrs. Pepper had been confined to her bed for three months by the infirmities of old age. Her death was no doubt hastened by several falls of late years, the accidents being due to her feeble condition. Deceased was born October 5th, 1800, in Woodford County, this State, and was consequently in the ninety-seventh year of her age. Her husband, William Pepper, died in 1836, and of the children born to them only one, Mrs. Watson, survives. Mrs. Pepper hid long resided in this city, and was one of Maysville's most highly esteemed citizens. She was the oldest member of the Christian Church. The funeral occurs Tuesday at 9:30 a. m. at the residence. Interment in the Maysville Cemetery. Six grandsons of deceased will act as the pallbearers.
