Death

Anna Baillie died before 13 April 1741, the date upon which she was buried at Dalziel parish in Lanarkshire, Scotland. Her death record reads as follows: "was buried here Anna Baillie in Motherwell Mill". Anna Baillie married John King. They were parishoners of Dalziel parish in Lanarkshire, Scotland. They were probably married there soon after their request for proclamation of marriage was booked on 23 November 1717. The marriage booking reads as follows: "John King and Anna Bailie both in this paroch having payed their procl monie were allowed the benefit of procl in order to marriadge".
