About Ann Jacks
Her maiden name is unknown but some sources identify her as Ann Garland. She was not Ann Briniger.
She was buried at Hanging Rock, south of the Yadkin River, on his own land. A deed dated 13 May 1803 from Wiliam Snow and and wife Elizabeth to Philip Haynes conveys 163 acres of land excepting 33 feet where Richard & Ann Jacks are buried. (Rowan Co. Deed Bk. 19:1)
