Ann Reed Gist

Biography

Ann Barbour Reed was born about 1794 in Virginia. She was the daughter of Mordecai Barbour of Virginia.[1]

She was married about 1813 to Thomas N. Gist.[1] They had the following known children [1]:

Thomas Gist, born c. 1816, married 1) Elizabeth Cox 2) Elvira Givens
Maria Virginia Gist, born 18 January 1818, married Terry Witt
Anna Maria Gist, born c. 1820, married John Smith
Elizabeth B. Gist, born c. 1822, married Eleazer Givens
Judith C. Gist, born c. 1824, married Thomas Karr Givens
Frances T Gist
Cecil Gist, born c. 1833, never married
Helen Gist, born c. 1838
Ann died about 1841 in Hopkins County, Kentucky.[1]
