Ann Adkins

Caution: Apparently a "consultant" once concocted an unsourced line for a client which made the Pugh / Pew sisters be the daughters of a Jane Milner, allegedly daughter of Elizabeth Rolfe, the lost daughter of John Rolfe (last heard of in her father's will in 1622). As of November 2020, we see Anne and Jane Pew as the two known children of Henry Pew of Henrico (died 1711) and his wife Jane.

She married Abraham Childers 1675 in Henrico County, Virginia, son of Abraham I Childers and Jane Anne Howard. He was born 1 APR 1655 in Curles Road, Henrico, Virginia, was christened 2 DEC 1655 in Henrico County, Virginia, and died 6 DEC 1693 in Henrico County, Virginia.

After his death, she married John Adkins.

• To grandsons Daniel Price, John Childers, and Joseph Adkins, to each 100 acres out of my tract at FOUR MILE CREEK, and if any land left, this goes to my grandson Abraham Childers, Jr. and this should be adjacent to what is already in his poss.
• To grandaughter Jane Childers, seal skin trunk

She then married John Adkins on July 18, 1700. Anne Pew Childers Adkins died in 1714 in Henrico, Virginia Colony. [1]
