On 11 January 1528 Allan Brown took up the rental of a sixteen shilling eight penny land in Carntyne with the consent of Catherine Pollock (aka Catryn Pollok), widow of Andro Gilhagy (aka Andro Gylhagy), the last rentaller of this land. Rental Book of the Diocese of Glasgow, page 91

On 11 January 1528 James Gilhagie (aka James Gylhagy) took up the rental of an eight shilling four penny land with the consent of Catherine Pollock (aka Catryn Pollok), the widow of Andrew Gilhagie (aka Andro Gylhagy).The land in question was probably part of Over Carntyne.
