Obituary San Antonio Light July 16, 1908
A. J. Milner, aged 86 years, died last night at the home of his daughter, Mrs. A. H. Niggli, 832 Kentucky avenue, West End. Decedent [sic] was an old resident of Texas, having come from North Carolina, his native state 38 years ago, when he engaged in ranching near Lampasas. He retired from active work 10 years ago and came to San Antonio and lived with his daughter until his death.
Mr. Milner was a Confederate veteran and a member of the Masonic lodge at Lampasas. In addition to his daughter, Mrs. Niggli, he also leaves a daughter, who resides at Lampasas. The funeral will take place this afternoon at 3:30 o'clock from the house.
