Biography

The children of John Crew, of New Kent County & Sarah Crew were:

iii. Andrew Crew, Sr; married Hannah Ellyson in 1720. They had eight children and continued to live in Charles City County, where they were members of the Weyanoke Meeting. The family suffered numerous fines, and at one point Andrew was imprisoned for two weeks.

Andrew's marriage to Hannah was recorded in the minutes of Henrico Monthly Meeting as taking place on the 12th day, 2nd month, 1720 in Charles City County Meeting House.[2] (Before the 1752 calendar change this would be 12 April 1720.)

Death

His death was also recorded at Henrico Monthly Meeting, noting that he was an elder and member of Waynoak Particular Meeting. [3]
