The claim that Analyas Catharina was born in 1707 is inconsistent with the birthdates of her children. I've therefore reasserted the proper constraint.
Her place of birth has been reported to be in various places in Germany, and even in Holland. This makes no sense, however, given that her husband seems to have been from Bas-Rhin, and her parents too. I conclude that web trees that claim these other places of origin are fanciful at best.
Her first name "Analyas" is found in many web trees, and I have no reason to believe it's wrong. It's in more common usage in Bas-Rhin.
Birth surname has also been reported to be Analyas.
Given name has also been reported to be Anna Catharina.
Date and place of birth have also been (erroneously?) reported to be 1702 at Holland, Gütersloh, Detmold, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany.
If Analyas Diehl is the wife of Christoffel Moll, and they had children born before 1731, those children must have been born in Europe. Therefore it stands to reason that Analyas was born near to where Christoffel was born. Since Christoffel's mother was known to have been born in Hirschland, Bas-Rhin, Analyas was likely born somewhere nearby in Bas-Rhin as well.
Furthermore, a Johannes Diehl was aboard the same ship that carried Christoffel and Analyas. We don't have ages from this ship, but he is likely to be a close relation, either brother or father. Since I've not been able to find any life or marriage for him in America, I have concluded he was probably Analyas's brother, and also from Bas-Rhin.
