Piers & his second wife had [two] children:

• iii JOHN Corbet (25 Mar 1298-before 1347)
• iv [ALICE Corbet A manuscript relating to Ranton Priory, Staffordshire records that Johanni de Harecourt married seconlitliciam filiam domini Petri Corbet de Caus after the death of his first wife[2829] Both the chronology and her name suggest that Alice may have been born from her fathers second marriage A writ dated 2 May "4 Edw III" and inquisitions 18 May 1 Edw III after the death of "John de Harecurt", do not name his widow[2830], suggesting that she may have predeceased her husband m as his second wife, JOHN de Harcourt, son of RICHARD [II] de Harcourt & his first wife Margaret Beke (-before 2 May 1330).

His and Alices on John was the last baron of Cause, and who was b. 25 Mar 1148 and d. bef 1347. John's heirs were his aunts Alice m. Robert de Stafford and Emma m. Sir Bryan de Brampton - see CP.

He was born ABT 1235 in Caus Castle, Westbury, Shropshire, England, and died BEF 10 AUG 1300. His 2nd wife; he married Joan de Mortimer 1st
2. Humphrey de BEAUCHAMP , of Ryme, Sir AFT 10 AUG 1300 [1314] in 2nd husband 2nd wife, son of Robert V de BEAUCHAMP , Lord of Hache and Alice de MOHUN. He was born BEF MAR 1252/53 in Ryme Intrinseca, Sherborne, Dorset, England, and died 18 JUL 1317 in Silferton Manor, Devon, England. His 2nd wife; he married Sibyl Oliver 1st
