MARKHAM OF COTHAM

Alice Markham is the daughter of Sir John Markham and Margery Langford as per the Visitation of Nottingham. Her name is incorrectly given as Margaret in Markham Memorials. She was alive in 1532. Margaret is her mother. [1]

1532: (Margery Langford/Markham, her mothers' will): To Alis Markham my doyghter. [2]

SPECIAL NOTE: Most other genealogies show Alice Markham to be the daughter of John Markham and Alice Skipwith, I suspect this was assumed, and so far I have no daughter Alice Markham there, and the time line would be out. However, his son John Markham clearly does have a daughter Alice Markham, and the time line is now quite fine. Please do not change this here as I have it, unless you can show different. [3]
