ALEXANDER DALRYMPLE OF WOODHEAD

Alexander Dalrymple of Woodhead is the son of Alexander Dalrymple of Woodhead and his wife Mary Gray. He was born on 24 December 1747, probably at Woodhead, near Kirkintilloch, and his baptism was registerd at Kirkintilloch in Dunbartonshire, Scotland, on 28 December 1747.
