About Aletta Henriëtte Jacobs
- Aletta Jacobs (1854-1929) was the first Dutch woman in history who was officially admitted to the University. During her life she fought for womens rights. Thanks to her and other brave women (and men) in 1922 Dutch women could vote for the first time.
