5 Jan 2013; Virginia Buras: Agnes Nesmith Peacock (F.A.G. #38106877) was married to John Perry Peacock (F.A.G. #41334273). Agnes was married previously to John T. NESMITH. Think they had 6 children together. I do not know what happened to Agnes NESMITH's husband. Agnes married John Perry Peacock probably around 1894 to 1896. Agnes and John Perry had two children together - Lettie S. Peacock (F.A.G. #41316001) born Jan 1897 and Edwin M. Peacock (F.A.G. #41334258) born Aug 1898 according to the 1900 Census. Agnes Nesmith's children living with them in 1900 Census were: J. B. Nesmith born Apr 1884 (16); Garrott A. Nesmith born Mar 1886 (14); Martha A. Nesmith born Mar 1888 (12); Wm born Sept 1891 (10); and Hattie R born Feb 1892 (8). The 1910 Census has Agnes S. Peacock as the Head of household at age 46 married 14 years having 8 children and 8 children living. Garrett Nesmith (25), Mattie A. Nesmith (23) and Hattie Nesmith (18). I do not know why John Perry Peacock, Lettie S. Peacock (13) and Edwin M. Peacock (11) were not living in the same household or where they were. // John Perry Peacock was a brother to Sarah Ruth Peacock Jones, my great grandmother.
